Pelvic
Pain is one of the most common medical problems facing women today;
however it is a condition that is rarely talked about. The International
Pelvic Pain Society estimates that more than 10 million people suffer
with chronic pelvic pain worldwide. In addition the National Vulvodynia
Association reports that 16% of all women will suffer from vulvar pain
in their lifetime. Besides proper treatment for pelvic pain, support
groups are a very important part of healing. They allow individual who
share common diagnosis to come together and offer one another support,
identify with each others stories, as well as learn from each other.
Finding a support can be difficult and for that reason we off you the IC
Friends Community as well as an online internet radio support group
were you can call in and not only receive support but give support. If
you would like to be a guest and share your story on our radio show (you
have the option to remain anonymous) please send up and email:

Life Interrupted: It's
not all about me
This self- help memoir made me laugh and cry
aloud. The author is humorous, honest and I was moved by his faith in a higher
power. Reading this book made me stop, examine and take an inventory of
my "poor me attitude" and how it might be affecting my
relationship. This book isn't just for couples it applies to all.
